What we collect
- Account data: your email address and login details
- Security logs: when you sign in to wh.ax itself, we record your IP address, browser type and time of access to keep your account secure
- Action analytics: when a wh.ax action, link or QR code is used — including where a site owner embeds it on their own website — we record anonymous, aggregated interaction counts (for example, that an action was shown or taken). These contain no IP address and no identifier that could follow a visitor across sites, and timestamps are reduced to the hour. They are not linked to identifiable individuals.

We may also share aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics with domain owners, billing administrators, or teams who manage an at-domain. These analytics never include personal data.
Security & storage
Data is stored securely in the UK or EU with encryption and strict access controls. If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
wh.ax uses small text files called cookies to:

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other sites. The wh.ax actions embedded on a site owner's website set no cookies and uses no cross-site identifiers. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

- Request a portable copy of your data
